RENO 1 Pro is powered by Ashtech BD990 board. With 336 channels, BD990 supports L-band global rover correction service as well as xFill.
Similar to a highway, more channels mean more lanes, which implies more incoming and outcoming data with faser and smoother flow. Mk-803 mainboard supports 1,598* channels, provides a super highway for our datalink.

When RTK or VRS signal sources are interrupted because of signal disruption or temporary disconnection with radio, Reno 1 can still be backed up by seamless and accurate positioning via satellite for up to 5 minumtes, which enables our receiver to continue quality performance and accuracy.
The 2nd generation of Rimu Technology enables surveyor to measure dynamically with an estimated position and head if the receiver loses satellite connection or under a poor condition of satellite signals (e.g. near tunnels, buildings, etc.).
Rimu 2.0 provides reliable and accurate tilt compensation for RTK, and users can measure without alignment. Surveyor no longer needs to level the receiver before getting fixed.
Rimu 2.0 is 30% faster to corrected, and 50% more stable than the first generation.
